More precisely, we assume that the infinite system has a unique ground state and that the corresponding Gelfand–Naimark–Segal Hamiltonian has a spectral gap above its eigenvalue zero. Moreover, we show that a similar adiabatic theorem also holds in the bulk of finite systems up to errors that vanish faster than any inverse power of the system size, although the corresponding finite-volume Hamiltonians need not have a spectral gap.\r\n\r\n","lang":"eng"}],"file":[{"date_updated":"2022-01-19T09:27:43Z","file_size":705323,"date_created":"2022-01-19T09:27:43Z","success":1,"file_id":"10646","checksum":"87592a755adcef22ea590a99dc728dd3","relation":"main_file","access_level":"open_access","creator":"cchlebak","file_name":"2022_ForumMathSigma_Henheik.pdf","content_type":"application/pdf"}],"type":"journal_article","day":"18","article_processing_charge":"Yes","month":"01","tmp":{"image":"/images/cc_by.png","name":"Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International Public License (CC-BY 4.0)","short":"CC BY (4.0)","legal_code_url":"https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0/legalcode"},"date_updated":"2023-08-02T13:53:11Z"}
